The creation of our pool tables is an ode to true beauty, it is passion becoming tangible.
Research and in-depth study shape the idea; ability and experience can turn it into reality.
Our skillful artisans orchestrate each phase to forge visions and convey emotions.
Minds are meant to conceive, hands to create.
While the idea takes shape, the creation aims for perfection.
Perfection is an illusion, albeit with a glimpse of excellence that can be found in every harmonious detail of our pool tables.
Our professional pool tables are the result of a long craft tradition, whose secrets have been developed and bequeathed for three generations. This artisanal work requires patience and considerable efforts and this is why only few experts and enthusiasts keep practising it today.
The structure of our pool tables is made of weathered European lime: the first seasoning takes place in the wood dryer, while the second one occurs in our laboratory, where it is left to stand for at least one year, before processing it.
The external structure – legs and bumpers – is made of MDF, a peculiar material that provides the pool table with a perfect solidity.
What makes our pool tables unique is a traditional albeit disused technique, namely the usage of 10 mm bolts with a clamping bush placed inside the bumper. This is a method that requires more time, if compared with the more common use of external bolts. Through this mechanism our pool tables ensure utmost tightness and excellent aesthetic results.
As far as the surface is concerned, the use of slates is essential to grant perfect balance and maximum precision while playing pool. Slates come from Lavagna, a Ligurian city rich in this flat rock. According to the size of the pool table, different quantities of slate can be used: with 7’ pool tables only one slate is used, with 8’/9’ pool tables three slates of 25mm are regularly used, while for the biggest size – the 12’ one – five slates of 40mm are used.
After laying and flattening the slate, we cover the surface with a specific fabric produced by a Belgian company leader in the sector, Simonis. The pool table felt is made of wool and cotton. A genuine leather upholstery refinishes and completes the pool table pots too.
Our pool tables can be decorated with different styles, classical or modern ones, along with the possibility to be adorned with various materials like gold and silver leaf, embroidered European leathers, inlaid briar-roots, precious marbles and so forth.
To complement our professional pool tables, we provide all necessary accessories to play pool: our pool cues are made of wood, covered with a soft touch finishing that makes the grip more comfortable. Our billiard balls are Aramith’s, a renowned brand in the sector.
To accurately complete the billiard room, we also offer a cleverly designed lamp to give uniform lighting to the game board: it is a 170W L.E.D. lamp weighing in at 85kg (=188 pounds) and fixed to the ceiling through adjustable steel wire ropes.
