The brand-new foosball table model by Vismara Design. Oskar is a contemporary product with a vintage taste. Oskar is a gaming table that charms thanks to its timeless style and captivating design. The foosball table boasts ancient origins, the first examples were created in Europe in the first half of the 20th century. It was a way of playing football using a very limited space. From Europe the foosball table game then developed throughout the world and today it is considered an actual sport.
Foosball is a game that allows you to enjoy moments of light-heartedness and great fun. It is a convivial game suitable for everyone and the cornerstone of any game room.
Vismara Design, which has been specialising in Home Entertainment furniture for years, has always been fascinated by the possibility of creating design objects that reconceive the most common games in a luxurious look.
Oskar is the translation of a popular game into a top-level foosball table.
Oskar foosball table stands out for its design inspired by the 1950s. In the ‘50s a great economic boom took place after a long period of war. The desire for carefreeness and freshness also had a huge impact on the field of design and interiors. Pieces with bright colours and welcoming shapes were created. The lines of the ‘50s are still in vogue nowadays and very inspiring for today’s design.
Oskar foosball table recalls the sinuosity of vintage lines; sharp edges are banned and replaced by soft profiles that emphasise the playful spirit of this item. The sinuosity is highlighted using an extra glossy finish. This foosball table is best enhanced by pastel palettes: green, light blue, yellow and pink, all colours available in soft and desaturated shades.
Another detail of great refinement are its little players. Their soft lines are inspired by the theatrical figures drawn by Bauhaus master Oskar Schlemmer. Like little dancers, the players of Oskar foosball table float on the football pitch.
The playing field of Oskar foosball table is made of back-lacquered tempered glass. This glass provides great resistance and fluidity to the gameplay. Cork balls do not ruin the table in any way during matches.
Oskar foosball table, thanks to its timeless design, can be the perfect piece of furniture for any setting and style. From modern to eccentric environments, this table will fit promptly thanks also to the great variety of finishes available.
